Lady Gaga's Workshop Barneys NY
Role: Art Director, Designer
I created custom limited edition necklaces and rings for GAGA'S WORKSHOP at Barneys NY in 2011. Barneys NY took over an entire floor of its Madison Avenue flagship store and dedicated it to GAGA'S WORKSHOP, a spin on Santa's workshop with the creative direction of Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti. This dedicated space housed a range of exclusive, special edition items that will only be available in the shop for a limited time. These items ranged from plush toys to cosmetics, jewelry, apparel and more. 25% of all sales from the workshop were donated to the Lady Gaga born this way foundation.
As one of the select designers for the pop-up, I designed "bornthisway" necklace in 3 color-ways, a GA GA ring set in 2 color-ways and a set of horn rings in 1 color-way. I also designed the packaging for the jewelry. All of these pieces were available in stores and online.
Keeping in the tradition of the holidays and the 12 days of Christmas, before GAGA'S WORKSHOP officially opened at Barneys NY they kicked it off with the 12 days of GAGA! Each day for 12 days leading up to the opening, a new product was released on the site as a teaser. The GA GA ring set in turquoise and purple was the featured item for day 5 of the campaign.
